  1. Switched from R1T (Gen 1 Quad) to a Ford Bronco

Yeah...I should have added 'in the EV space'. The ineos is pretty neat. Toss some FOX shocks on there and it boogies pretty good too!
  2. Switched from R1T (Gen 1 Quad) to a Ford Bronco

  3. R2 vs Model Y 70-MPH Highway Range Test (by Out of Spec)

Interesting, my lifetime is 2.14 mi/kwh which just exceeds my EPA rating of 285 mi.

  5. Switched from R1T (Gen 1 Quad) to a Ford Bronco

Environmental issues aside, there is currently no direct substitute for a Ford Bronco or Jeep Wrangler. Lockers, 35s, Low range gearbox - a combo that does not exist in the EV world. So for now, we can give you a free pass ;). (also, no pics of the Bronco??)
  6. R2 vs Model Y 70-MPH Highway Range Test (by Out of Spec)

So not only did Out of Spec use the wrong EPA mileage for a Highway specific test, they also ignored charging losses. This leads to "Disappointment" headlines when people go in with unrealistic expectations.
  7. R2 vs Model Y 70-MPH Highway Range Test (by Out of Spec)

Mental gymnastics. Not worth the effort. My R1T also achieves highway MPGe to the number (albeit that was with a RTT over the bed). You guys can rationalize it however you want. We KNOW that the R2 on the highway gets 2.8 mi/kwh which correlates directly to the EPA MPGe rating. It's there for...

The hero we need right now.

Say it again for the idiots in the back!
  10. R2 lift kit (aftermarket) by EVSportline

Extremely common to do a spacer lift to fit bigger tires. It will make it drive worse, higher center of gravity, suspension/tire angles won't be ideal at ride height affecting traction, over speed bumps you may feel the suspension top out more easily. BUT - 33s yo.
  11. Guide: R1S / R1T Wind Noise FIX!

I purchased the seals ages ago and FINALLY installed yesterday. Thanks for the post OP! Install Observations: 1. I did everything on the Driver door and it's a bit difficult to open/close. It 'pops' with more force when opening. 2. Passenger side, I did everything except the door side L seal...
  12. R2 Jack Point Design - Potential Issues / Challenges

I've got "pucks" for every single vehicle I own. It's a common automotive practice unfortunately.
  13. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

The 911 Dakar is a perfect example of Form over Function. I think they are dumb, and I generally like 911s.
  14. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

It's just a smart decision to offer it. They have a huge customer base that likes to go to the mountains in the winter. That rating is the difference between chain carry requirements or not.
  15. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

Go for it the BMW or the Volvo. That's great to have choice, but my point still stands, that the only reason you are shopping those vehicles is due to limited choices. Or do you believe 4Runner buyers considered a Volvo or BMW gas car first? What about Subaru owners? They shopping BMWs?
  16. R2 Block Party (Palo Alto)

  17. R2 Block Party (Palo Alto)

    More pics from Saturday.
  18. R2 Configurator is Live! 🎉 What's your configuration?

Read all 19 pages! Funny stuff, especially all the noise about paint color pricing! > LE Pricing is attractive, goal is to get you to buy now, not wait on RAP1 and LIDAR. End of 2026, no more LE is my bet (as soon as those other features come online). Premium with all features will be more $...
  19. R2 rear suspension has "incredible ride quality and handling" says RJ Scaring with preview photos

Don't worry. Be happy. I searched for Knuckle Bushings and voila, Hondas and Nissans using a similar type, with easily replaceable bushings.
