Out of curiousity, how much would I be saving going DIY vs BF3's route? Trying to figure out the cost/benefit equation of getting something top notch (BF3's) vs me (first attempt).

This is me. Took delivery in early November with the automatic cover gone only to realize it at pickup. Slots are there but I don't know if the automatic is there and disabled or what. No option to order a manual at that time. So am I paying sucker price for the manual now?
