Has anyone else heard rattles coming from the front passenger seat? If I move it way up, it goes away. If I push against the seat w/ my right arm, it goes away. I had mobile tech come out and check the torque on the floor bolts and all was good and of course he couldn't hear it. If someone is sitting in the seat, no problems.

Anyone else?

I’ve had this. They’ve tried to fix it three times now and the last time it finally helped. Still happens just not as bad. Will try to pull up work order to see what they did.

Same problem. Tech re-torqued the seat bolts and no change. They said if it didn't stop it they'd replace the seat which seems wasteful to me. Would love to figure out where to shove in a piece of felt or lube.

Old post but this is driving me crazy. I'm certain it did not rattle when I picked it up. Then I brought it for PPF and it has rattled ever since. Maybe I just need to move it around?

Only happens on rough roads but well that's a lot of my commute.

I’ll share what my rattle ended up being. Mine seemed to be coming from the upper part of the seat. I tired everything to figure out what was loose by pushing on the seat from various angles. In the end it was the cushion space between the head rest and the main seat where a loose black “Nut” was shoved all the way in. It was not attached to anything and there are no bolts in that part of the seat.

I figure it either got dropped in there during production, or some cheeky line worker was hiding them like Easter eggs in the seat head rest cushion area. All fixed once I found/removed the loose nut.

I'm pretty sure this truck will rattle no matter what. I have rattles come and go. Much worse in winter when plastic shrinks, etc. I have a rattle in passenger door as well, but only hear it without radio on, which is hardly ever off, so I've let it go. Also one in driver's side pillar that 1 day is there, and then for weeks won't hear it again. Such a weirdly built truck. Lol.

A loose nut? That sounds like a one off haha.

There are some minor other rattles but the passenger seat is pretty crazy, the seat shakes like mad wiggling back and forth and it just click click click constantly.

I tried wiggling the seat myself but can't reproduce unless I'm driving. Wife sat in the backseat and she couldn't find it but heard it. If she held the seat from wiggling it stopped doing it.

Will look for loose nut...
