This happened to me. There are sensors under the seat to detect if you're there or not, if you're not there the truck will go into park.
BUT that was not my problem.

You should definitely have that looked at, but the engineers assigned to my case did not see any events from the seat sensors during the moments in question. I placed a call to them again yesterday but I’ve yet to hear back.
Don't think so. The service rep I spoke with mentioned to me a few people have reported this issue and the logs don't point to a trigger by the sensor.
I've owned my R1T for about a month and a half now and since I've had it there is an issue where the truck puts itself into park when coming to a stop.
