Have used my A2Z adapter several times and it worked well. The lever/switch to secure it to the NACS cable is a bit clunky and took me a couple of tries. But once i got that going it worked perfectly. Now i have gone from planning my trip ahead of time to not really worrying too much, at...
Ordered both A2Z and Lectron a while back. Got A2Z shipping notification this week. I fear that those waiting for the Rivian free adapter are gonna be waiting a while. Hope not... but ask me about my tonneau cover I have been without for 18 months. I fear that Rivian is gonna be more inclined...
Updated to 46.0 last night, drove about 150 miles today all on Driver Assist. No issues. Driver assist changes to support lane change were perfect for me. I will actually use it now. Great update.
Hoping the new Supercharger install at wally's in Pontiac,IL gets magic dock when they finish the install. Their old ccs chargers have been in bad shape for a long time. Its rough finding a reliable charge in that area.
Or, if Elon decides, he can basically put Rivian out of business. Seems like a problem to me.
Going to be an interesting 12 months or so as this battle rages on. Bet EA and EVGo are gonna be pretty cautious in their investments until the dust settles here.
I think i am going to order this, it looks great, love the flush look. My power tonneau has been disabled since day one and I really doubt it ever gets fixed. And I paid 1500 for that too.. wonder if rivian will refund that, i doubt it. Thanks @EV Sportline for stepping up where Rivian does...
They have a membership program for 12.99 per month that drops the rate by 25% or so. Probably worth it if you use them a more than once every few months.
Wonder if Rivian is setting up to begin allowing non Rivian charging at a fee? And probably also setting up for subscription or pay as you go based charging for rivian owners starting next year. Without doubt they probably want some revenue from RAN.
Depending on where you are starting from, you will probably have to deal with Lafayette, IN or Bloomington, IL Electrify America locations. Lafayette seems to be a bit of a train wreck lately and Bloomington, IL can get very busy and may have reduced output. Plan for a little extra time at...
I don't use PAAK, I only use the key fob. Works exactly as every other car i have ever had with the exception of when i push the unlock button the handles pop out. It really feels no different. PAAK works find for me too, i just prefer the fob.
Michigan has more than a thousand miles of fresh water coastline that is largely underserved from a charging perspective. So perhaps this is to cater to midwesterners from IL, IN, OH who vacation in Michigan. Combine that with Rivian's significant corporate presence in Michigan and factory in...
Just closing this one off with what was fixed. They replaced the entire taillight assembly, the service experience was excellent, it took a couple weeks for the appointment.
Another thing i have tried is to take a more direct route using 2 lane roads. it has a double benefit sometimes. Less miles and reduced speed often gets you there in about the same time and efficiency is great. Check out the efficiency route in google maps. But only sometimes this is worth it.
Wondering if any one has experienced this.
First when I activate the left turn signal I get a fast blinking and only the front one blinks. Second I have noticed randomly that I will go somewhere or walk out in the garage to see that the left rear taillight is on. Just the one taillight. Then it...
My guess is that the turn restrictions need to be edited from Berlin to the onramp. Currently it is set to "Right turn allowed" and it probably needs to be "Only Right turn allowed" If you click on berlin road, then click on the point of the intersection where i put the yellow arrow (berlin...
No idea what the fix is, my guess is that the berlin rd section needs to be divided into two divided lanes. I think you can right click on the location that is wrong and "Add a note" for them to look at. There are also some forums that you could probably submit to as well...
I believe Rivian use OpenStreetMap for their data. Rivian navigation used to route me to my house using the cart paths of the golf course behind my house. not kidding. I made a change to open streetmaps to mark the cart paths as private roads/cart paths and it fixed my rivian (and ABRP)...
That looks great. I applaud your creativity and ingenuity. Not to mention your generosity for sharing your work. Well done. My Pixel 7 does ok on the stock charger but this looks perfect for those with magsafe and phones with charging challenges in the rivian. i think i need a 3d printer...
