Has there been any reports on a V2 failing? It’s been out now for a year, but I don’t recall seeing any.

I think it’s unclear. On one hand, it’s not an end-of-quarter month, so no real push. On the other hand I suspect the 2026’s with NACS and maybe some other small changes come in July (Quad seems close to launch) - so they might push 2025s. S00n we’ll know.

When you open the frunk, there are panels that go around the edge of the “tub”. My noises/flutter/rattle came from the panels that lie over the headlights near the latch at the front of the frunk. They forgot to replace the fasteners

Check your panels at the front of your frunk. Service didn’t place all the retainers for me and I had similar rattle/flutter.

2 month wait for service is still bad. I hope they improve QA and add a couple more SoCal Service Centers, and fix things right the first time. All of these are at the root of the service backup. 3 week waits aren’t a good ownership experience, 9 weeks is abysmal.

I like the new interiors for the ascent trims, except the bright brown woods on black and slate. I’d really like the option for a dark wood combo. I’d even consider the non-wood options over the bright browns.

Yes - it’s apparently normal, but if you open a service ticket, they might add some foam for you (they did mine)

I really, really like the color. Too bad it’s not available with the standard black mountain/black wood interior. I’m not a huge fan of either of the ascend interior options. Wish I could add the plain-ol’-interior.

What about at highway speeds when the rear is disengaged?
