Lectron vortex adapter (level 3 supercharger to CCS)

Just some notes: I have the A2Z and have been charging with it as much as possible for the past (almost) 2 weeks. Works as expected and no concerns regarding temp, locking, etc. I ordered the Lectron back in Nov '23, talked with them about early delivery for review, paid for expedited...

    R2 Colors Preview Images 🎨

Are you just applying the R1 color schemes to the R2 ? Because, that's not what they said they were doing.

MidnightRivian's R1S Tesla Charger test session hitting speeds @ 217 kW using A2Z adapter / plug and charge feature

I've also sent a message to the property owner that they should swap those pay to use 6.3kw chargepoints out with pay vacuum cleaners. They'd get way more use.

MidnightRivian's R1S Tesla Charger test session hitting speeds @ 217 kW using A2Z adapter / plug and charge feature

Did I say anything about on time? I'm very aware of how things move here. My guess is that there won't be many in the first shipment batch. They were likely allotted a very, very small number for an initial welcoming tease delivery then the rest will be just like Ford's rollout. As I said...

MidnightRivian's R1S Tesla Charger test session hitting speeds @ 217 kW using A2Z adapter / plug and charge feature

For you, yes. They are prioritizing by delivery dates. I fully expect this to run the way Ford's is running (the free adapters are all coming from the same supplier). I believe @Riviot 's delivery was early so he should be in the front end. Rivian will be sending an email next month to...

MidnightRivian's R1S Tesla Charger test session hitting speeds @ 217 kW using A2Z adapter / plug and charge feature

Exactly. To use membership pricing, you have to activate the charge in the Tesla app prior to plugging in. You should always get the time variable rate on plug&charge.

MidnightRivian's R1S Tesla Charger test session hitting speeds @ 217 kW using A2Z adapter / plug and charge feature

Yes, it's a wrap :) It's interesting, I've not seen this often on EA or others, but the SC's seem to take you up to the top end before the truck's curve kicks in. Over 50% you'll still get to the 215+ range then it will creep back down. I don't know if there is a latency in truck feedback to...

MidnightRivian's R1S Tesla Charger test session hitting speeds @ 217 kW using A2Z adapter / plug and charge feature

Just wait. If you get to a "need" point, let me know and I'll let you borrow mine. Maybe meet up in Chehalis or something :) We can charge across from the EVgo station there ha ha ha.

MidnightRivian's R1S Tesla Charger test session hitting speeds @ 217 kW using A2Z adapter / plug and charge feature

I've been charging all week at various stations in my path. Solid experience. 83F is my highest reading, but it is fairly cool here still. No negative comments from Tesla owners yet. Actually a couple that commented that they were excited to see new faces. @A2ZEV

A2Z NACS To CCS1 Adapter Review

The A2Z guys are extremely busy, as you can imagine, right now as a small business dealing with this. I'm sure they'd love to join in here at some point, but when I'm getting messages from them at 10p on the west coast when they are in Quebec, you know they are burning the candle from the...

    Trailer lights not working

The biggest issue with the trailer plug socket is it is super tight on some plugs. Put some WD-40 on a rag and wipe the outside down and try shoving it in. If it isn't all the way in, it's easy to tell, it will pull out without lifting the cover latch.

Also, IDK if Kyle mentioned this, but charges that come thru from plug and charge show up as Rivian charges on your statement.

Video: How-to charge Rivian at Tesla Supercharger (by Out of Spec Kyle)

Plug & charge will always default to paying with whatever card is your payment method in the Rivian profile. If you are using the Tesla app to utilize subscription discounts, you need to select the charger in the app and wait until it tells you to plug in before you plug into the vehicle.

Tesla Supercharger access went live!... temporarily

This is not true. Tesla opened Plug&Charge today at 5pm. They have not activated the Rivian side in the Tesla app yet, and neither has Rivian kicked them on in the nav. Coming soon.
