  1. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

Definitely agree. I have been plotting out what a trip from Seattle to Glacier NP would look like (with my RV in tow), and central WA was looking a bit rough. A trailer friendly charger in that location would make a huge difference.
  2. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

Pismo Beach confirmed, I just charged there a few days ago. Two long trailer pull-in spaces (they aren't pull through but there's more than enough room to maneuver). Strangely it still doesn't show up in the Rivian nav. I had to double check the forum to find the address. It's in the same...
  3. Current Travel Trailers / RVs you're towing - Reviews and Recommendations!

They did, actually! Very recently, they announced a kind-of-electrified refresh: the Basecamp 20xe. https://www.airstream.com/travel-trailers/basecamp-xe/floorplans/20xe/ It has a large battery (10 kWh), more solar, inverter, induction burner, and the appliances can run in electric mode, with...
  4. Current Travel Trailers / RVs you're towing - Reviews and Recommendations!

From my limited experience, I would say Airstream is a bit ahead of inTech on quality, but the two of them are way way ahead of almost everyone else (except maybe the other fiberglass brands like Casita, Escape, etc), so the difference between an Airstream and an inTech seems relatively small...
  5. Current Travel Trailers / RVs you're towing - Reviews and Recommendations!

I'm pulling an Airstream Basecamp 20X. I tried out a Sol Horizon too, but ultimately decided I liked the Basecamp better, mostly for the larger sleeping area (the shape is a bit odd but the total area is very close to a king bed). At 55mph I see 1.5 or even 1.6 mi/kWh, at 65 it drops to 1.3...
  6. 2023 R1T Quad, trip down the Oregon Coast Towing Airstream Basecamp

I expect so. I've done that at a DC fast charger but I haven't tried it at a campground or other level 2 charger. Theoretically it should work the same way.
  7. 2023 R1T Quad, trip down the Oregon Coast Towing Airstream Basecamp

TL;DR: If you don't need the air conditioner, everything else works fine. If you do, some trailer modifications are needed. I have basically the same setup: R1T gen 1 quad on 21s with a Basecamp 20X. I have used the Rivian for shore power with a 30amp to 15 amp adapter and it works fine. It...
  8. Error “Surround sensors off” every 1h of driving + disabling cruise and lane keeping

Actually I just started getting a similar error a few days ago. In my case I got it on startup in my driveway, and it put up a warning that the rear cross-traffic warning is disabled. Then when I was on the highway later I got a similar error saying adaptive cruise control wouldn't work. The...
  9. Out of Spec Review of Pebble from CES

He's got some videos like that for sure, but a lot of the runtime on this one is the CTO from Pebble (Stefan Solyom) describing the technical details (as much as he can reveal) of the Pebble Flow itself. Stefan starts talking at 6:24.
  10. Pebble Flow Electric Camper - Competition for Lightship RV

Yes, definitely do this. I did the same thing when I was shopping for a camper and it was really helpful. I had some ideas on paper about which ones were better or worse, but taking one out for a night or a weekend made a big difference. I had a bad experience in my first pick (Sol Horizon) and...
  11. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

There's a RAN under construction now in Gardiner MT (north entrance to Yellowstone NP): https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/ran-rivian-charging-stations-locations-map-via-google-maps.1721/page-135#post-649370
  12. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

Does the San Bernardino charger have a pull-through stall for trailers? [edit: From earlier pictures on plugshare it looks like there might be one?]
  13. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

I live in the San Jose area, and there is definitely already enough DCFC capacity here, at least for now. (I wouldn't mind more trailer friendly / pull-through capacity, but RAN isn't guaranteed to have that). Rivian has limited resources for expanding RAN, so just in my opinion, I'd rather see...
  14. Restrooms @ charging stations

This. Towing brings in its own set of complications, and adds more charging stops, but at least I never have to find a bathroom when I'm charging.
  15. Just confirmed NACS adapter shipping

I also just got the confirmation email. R1T VIN 08xxx, delivery September 2022
  16. Rivian 1500w 110v (120v) outlet output not enough? My solution…..

I have a couple, actually: a PointZero Titan (with two batteries, the older NMC type) and an Anker Powerhouse 767 (which is now called an Anker Solix F2000). The older Titan isn't a great fit. The Anker is more ergonomic and easy to maneuver, but it's still not quite ideal because the plugs are...
  17. Rivian 1500w 110v (120v) outlet output not enough? My solution…..

I second this. The Delta Pro should fit, just barely. I did the same measurement when I was considering an EcoFlow. The only reason I went with a different unit is because the Delta Pro is 100 lbs, so it would be really difficult for me to move it in and out of the truck bed.
  18. EVgo plug and charge Autocharge+ email

Yes, it is legit. I enrolled in EVGo autocharge last year, and I use it frequently on road trips. It's nice to just roll up and plug in with no other app or payment steps. EVGo is expensive but they are also in some nice and convenient locations, like the Pilot / Flying J chargers with actual...
  19. My R1T is going on a 2000 miles trip and need advise on charging

I just got back from a road trip (2000 miles each way) a few days ago, and charging worked out fine, with the exception of a rough patch in eastern Oklahoma. I used RAN, EA, EVGo, Chargepoint, and EV Connect. You should definitely use PlugShare. I use ABRP when I'm towing but I didn't need it...
  20. Max mi/kWh limited to 4… why?!

[My response on a similar thread]: Setting aside whether it was a good decision on Rivian's part, the logic is simple: a) Rivian chose 2 mi/kwh as the center of the y axis. b) 0 mi/kwh is a natural minimum for the y axis since you can't get less than that. c) To preserve linear scaling (not...
