We installed the running boards on a Saturday afternoon a few weeks back. With the warm weather here, 60-70 degrees, and on 21" wheels (rotated at 6k miles) I was seeing about 2.4-2.6 kWh/mi, in All-Purpose mode, yesterday in city traffic.
I'll take it for a drive soon to snap some graph...
Thank you for this write-up, our running boards are due in this week and I've already ordered the hole saw kit you shared. I plan to use your post as a reference. Also, knowing the grommets don't fit as expected is helpful; so I won't order them (shoutout to @EV Sportline !)
seconding what @zefram47 said. The way I understand these notes, we'll only be interacting with the results of Google Maps's search API; those results will then feed address/lat+long data into Rivian's navigation suite.
That’s quite a wait!
I called the Denver service center last week for some A-Pillar noise and a tire rotation… I dropped it off this morning and picked it up this afternoon.
My truck has been in for service a handful of times, the longest I’ve had to wait has been 2 weeks.
I realize that my...
No real doubt in my mind. I was sharing info that others thought could prove helpful, given my situation fit within the bucket in question.
it seems clear to me: vehicles purchased in 2022, that are under the 200k sales cap, and assembled in the US qualify.
Signed BPA prior to August 16th 2022
Took delivery in September 2022 (I realize this is implied but if anyone reads this thread next year specificity might be helpful)
We've filled out the forms and are reviewing them prior to submitting our taxes this weekend. Turbo Tax claims we're eligible...
All good considerations! My post was to highlight that one can run climate control features in all-purpose mode and hit >2 kWh/mile efficiency.
I would guess that battery temp/condition before starting on a trip is also a factor worth adding to the equation. However, you keep your truck in a...
Anecdotally, my experience has differed slightly.
I usually run with seat heaters on and heat set to 70, typically in all-purpose, this winter has seen a fair amount of heated steering wheel use as well, and at over 5600 miles current average 2.06 kWh/m. The truck has 21's fwiw, that's probably...
I was on the phone with support for about 10-15 minutes and he was working with a tech. It is possible they were also toggling settings, but, I find it unlikely (see below). When my truck was in that stuck state, it wasn't sending any information to support. After the sleep cycle they were...
Just happened to our truck, running 2022.47.0. No TPMS, or other errors. We don't have PaaK enabled. Pedestrian warning noise happens when the brake is depressed, UI render of the Truck's Brake lights comes on, and when trying to shift into D or R an alert pops up telling me to "press the brake...
Vin 12,xxx here
Almost 6k miles, driven it on a week long road trip
working tonneau, for now
Even with some issues I’ve had replaced front drive unit, small things here and there. Easily the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. On top of that Denver Service Center has been great to work with when the...
That all makes sense to me. It might be worth looking at the frunk trim removal, vampire drain thread if you're seeing 2-4% drain a night or if your vehicle doesn't go to sleep.
Vampire Drain Relating to Frunk Trim -- my solution to reduce drain %
Otherwise, it might be worth disabling Wifi to...
This seems like a narrow vision of what the software team is responsible for, and a metric that isn't indicative of a software team's overall performance
Pre-order pricing here, as someone who likely falls into the second tier of potential buyer categories @rivianguy mentions.
Is the R1T/S worth $93k? Yes, our adventure edition config is put together soundly, and The Denver Service Center has taken care of us when we've had any issues. Our R1T...
I’m game since so long as there is no additional cost.
Every time I use the powered tonneau I think to myself “and this is when it gets stuck” so I wind up opening/closing it very infrequently. An updated solution, that is more confidence inspiring, is welcome in my book
We got the truck back last night right before the DSC closed. The entire front drive unit was replaced, and the front alignment was tuned up afterward to make sure the truck drives as expected.
Spoke with the service center lead on duty while picking up the truck.
Front-Drive Unit (coolant...
