Idea: Light bar icon unlock achievments [Poll]

Ah I hadnā€™t heard of this before, yes itā€™s very similar to this concept, more here: https://www.jeep.com/badge-of-honor.html

Idea: Light bar icon unlock achievments [Poll]

The other place where I feel like stickers are acceptable to me (for places youā€™ve been, etc.) is on the roof (interior) of the frunk hood: only visible when open, not inside of the car, etc.

Idea: Light bar icon unlock achievments [Poll]

Ah that's it, I like it! Keep it to only turns on when plugged in. That to me seems like a good way to tone it DOWN just a tad, just a bit of cold water to prevent overzealous people from, like, filling their entire light bar with every conceivable achievement or something. I'll add it to the poll.

Idea: Light bar icon unlock achievments [Poll]

Yeah see that's kinda what I'm thinking too - it's a fine line & I was trying to size them, add bloom, see how it actually might look, and I could see myself going on either side of this one. On the one hand, never shall a bumper sticker hit my Rivian once I have it, on the other hand, kinda...

Idea: Light bar icon unlock achievments [Poll]

Oh surely it could definitely spin out into that if Rivian wasn't careful, but I do like the idea of a digital version being a bit more refined than a decal that permanently ruins the finish & paint, plus which peels off...

Haha, so the whole idea is bleergh? or does it just need a redesign? honestly curious here what people who hate it are responding to.

Rivian has a beautiful light bar & presuming regulations support it, what do you think of achievement unlocks to display (as an option if you choose) badges on your lightbar, a few ideas: 26.2 badge - unlocks if you drive to GPS coordinates of a marathon event & the vehicle is stationary during...

Resolution of front & rear light bar?

I'm working on some design proposals I'd like to publish on my dribble & wondered, for anyone lucky enough to have their R1T or R1S, what is the full resolution of the light bars? I'm realizing this might not be easy to determine even looking at the bars up close, but I feel like there has to be...

    Kanundrum's R1S Build Thread (1 year Anniversary)

Any updates on ride quality? I know youā€™ve posted about that before but can you unpack what you meant by ā€œCan talk for hours on the quality of suspension they have put togetherā€? Iā€™m worried that R1S suspension performance would be disappointing. I feel like, after news that the R1S will...

    R1S Delivery today: Quick Summary

Couldnā€™t agree more on the infotainment choices. Rivianā€™s decisions here are really head-scratching to me. I went on a rant on this well-trodden topic in a comment to a Reddit post for a new vehicle pickup, much like yours, and people were asking where they could sign the petition, lol.

Max Pack delayed to 2024 according to configurator / email šŸ˜”

Welp, finally canceled my pre-order. Just doesnā€™t make sense to keep waiting at this point. Few reasons why (no hate to those waiting or Rivian, just doesnā€™t work for me to wait w/out info): Still no news sent to me via email (no configurator access yet) or timeline est. for dual-motor max...

    Kanundrum's R1S Build Thread (1 year Anniversary)

This is friggin' awesome. I think I would/will try a similar setup but with the Dometic GO faucet/container (electric, charge it w/ USB mini plug) system, but their button can be oh so finicky too. Also, might be reckless/too close to other things next to it, but I wonder if you could even fit...

Rivian Patents Front Bumper with a Winch (Fairlead)

Hmmm, I worry about torquing the alignment, destroying the tires, or worse, warping the wheel using the first & second in your quote, and that latter still isn't ideal as you loose a ton of lateral clearance. Still, better than nothing. This seems awfully basic for Rivian to have locked...

Just installed first production Overland Ruff Rax bed rack on R1T -- review & photos

Apologies if OP already answered or others have it already, but my understanding is that this mounts only on the top of existing bed, no changes, and uses the mounts for the Rivian racks to lock into place, but that no removal of plastic top body cladding is necessary. This is just a guess from...

OP delivers. Wondering what the over-under is for someone to make a battery pack in the gas-can formfactor & center locker; what color should it be? Electric/neon blue or green? Lightning yellow? Would be sick to have one ready for a quick top off or at least to use your peripherials with...

Overland Ruff Rax also has riser attachments you can put on the top of their racks, so I would think you could elevate any camper you want to clear the fin if it doesnā€™t already.

Thanks! A solar panel application, for me, at leas how Iā€™m planning for it, is really more about other more limited circumstances: Sapping the spare battery for lights, a range, other camping equipment, re-charging electronics, winter heater, etc.; a set of 2 or 4 panels can recover these small...

It's a hybrid now... R1T charged at 5.2kw with portable generator and charging adapter

nah, not excessive when charging infrastructure is so spotty & unreliable. IMO, if a Jerry can isnā€™t excessive with gas stations nearly ubiquitous, then a grab bag like this to make sure you can fill up nearly anywhere you find available electricity is the bare minimum for anyone going off the...
