Question I hope to get a little guidance with.
We have owned our R1S since Sept. In Nov a message of "Service Suspension Soon" came on the screen and the car felt like it had hydraulics - bouncing uncomfortably on any surface. I made an appointment, brought it to the closest service center...
It says "Module, Vehicle Dynamics (Remove and Replace)" but that doesn't offer me much insight. It's riding fine currently, just with that message on the dashboard. Last time the message showed the car felt like it had hydraulics bouncing all over the place.
Hi -
Has anyone else gotten the "service suspension soon" notice on their dashboard? It happened to us a month or so ago. We brought it to a service center, they took several days to fix it, then said just as they were driving it back to deliver it it reappeared. Fixed it. Several months went...
I may have missed this with the update and posts here.
With the new update about pre scheduling, does the car always need to be plugged in to precondition the battery but not the cabin heating? Or does scheduling the precondition for the car also heat the battery (with the interior).
Given...
Quick update here. I had a service appt scheduled and lo and behold, as I was about to drive 2 hours to Cinci, the note went off, everything was smooth as can be and it seemingly "fixed" itself. There was a huge rainstorm the night we first noticed this, so I wonder if some sensor/sensors were...
Hi -
I noticed the car was particularly "bouncy" this morning and then saw a note that we have to "Service Air Suspension soon" and it automatically changed our ride height from low to middle and it says something along the lines that we can't change ride height until we service the air...
Hi -
We just picked up our R1S last weekend. 21" wheels and on the app it said "380 miles." We were a bit confused by that number, so I checked with our guide as to what it was referring to, who said in conserve mode, with 21" wheels, it can get 380 miles of range. I've never heard of it...
Great question and one I had several weeks ago as well. I didn't notice any pattern, but would check several times daily and most days there were almost always different options, from colors to tire changes and other variables. I'm in Louisville KY and Franklin TN was my "home" where we...
We had a dual motor configured but were given shop access. Found our exact config (color, tires, etc) but instead with the quad motor, agreed to it on Tuesday and already got an email from the service center that it's ready to pick up. August 2023 build and we're getting it next Friday.
First...
Curious if anyone else is still in the "processing estimate" phase with their order? We ordered April '22. I know the July update was pushed to August and now that's come and gone. We were given access to the Shop, which is great, but we're down to one car and it's becoming a challenge with...
It's very regularly. I saw something this AM that wasn't there last night, is already gone and then new ones - colors, specs, etc - are in there since this AM. In other words, they're making it really tough to get anything else done when you're trying to check the shop on the regular to find...
The Launch editions are no longer in my shop, but now it also switched from "1-6 weeks" to "3-6 weeks" for whatever I might pick. I'm admittedly still holding tight for an update on my current configuration, which still says "processing estimate."
Is this something you can do within Rivian or are you suggesting getting the 20" just to have the vehicle and then getting 4 new 275/60 tires somewhere else?
I was thinking more on the dual motor vs. the max pack. We also don't quite need the functionality of the quad motor. Driving our kids around town doesn't require much "off roading" :-)
