FWIW if you are going with this setup: I purchased these wheels for my R1T (and used them as a winter set with Blizzaks mounted on them). I purchased TPMS sensors from Amazon (because I'm cheap), had Discount Tire install them, and they worked great. Didn't require programming and the car picked...
Every once in a while I'll get no sound while playing via bluetooth off my phone. Toggling it to OTA radio and then back to bluetooth fixes it. Weird bug for sure, hope they address at some point.
Hey ForeverOnTheWaitlist:
First of all, my screen name goes back to the days that I was waiting for an R1S, but since March I've been cruising around in an LAS R1T. To answer your question: Blizzaks LT 275/65/20 were installed by Discount Tire on these MSW wheels (with TPMS sensors from Amazon)...
Update: I had these installed with Blizzaks on them as a dedicated snow set. Super happy with the look (and the performance of the Blizzaks in the snow). Wheels appear to in the wheel wells in the same place/offset as the stock 20" wheels with the AT tires. Rivian center caps fit perfectly...
I saw this earlier today as well and ordered them instead of the Radius (which were on backorder). Will update once they're installed. I ordered the grey ones.
Q: What to do for center caps?
Came here to write exactly this. Silver for the T looks really good (I'm biased). For some reason GW is looks better on the S. Having owned quite a few diff color vehicles, silver is just easy to take care of. White for longevity.
20 inch AT setup here. Drove the R1T through the tail end of winter up to the nearby mountain and it handled great. Once you get used to the fact that you're piloting a 7000lbs vehicle, I think it's very capable. I was originally set on getting snow tires, but the ATs have been more than...
This! I'd prefer the vehicle to creep both in D and R. Esp when backing up in a tight spot it is a bit nerve wrecking to have to push the accelerator. I'd prefer the vehicle to 'creep' while I feather the brakes.
R1T pickup yesterday. 177XX VIN. No 12V. Per the guy who dropped it off, they basically worked through an existing batch for frunk tubs with 12V that was in stock. Moving forward, the 12V from the frunk has been eliminated.
This made me LOL. And kudos to Rivian for sending this email to clarify this for their customers. They have no incentive to do this but pretty cool that they did!
What would one fill out as the Purchase Date of the vehicle? The date that you signed the BPA?
[Context: I did sign the BPA prior to 8/16/2022, and I'm taking delivery on Thursday]
For others who may be contemplating non-Rivian mats but are turned off by the logos, I found this site: https://drewsdecals.com/product-category/smartliner-badges/
Disclaimer: I have not purchased these but they seem cool and I'm considering the Smartliner ones.
