I had this happening, but it turns out it is someone else in the household starting to play Spotify on the same account. It would then pause it in the car.
They don’t need to be nearby, anyone on the same account anywhere will cause that.Thank you. I think you have to buy a family / multiple simultaneous streams account on spotify (if this is truly your issue).Any ideas on a fix? I’m hard-pressed to imagine convincing teenagers to solve this in their phones… They like to be DJs with their phones when we’re driving Vivian together, and I like that also!

This has occasionally happened to me but it’s not what I mean. This is literally that the phone will automatically connect for phone calls but the “media” toggle under settings/phone/… will automatically toggle off. Nearly every time I get out of the car.Do you mean the sound just stops for no reason and you have to reach over and press Play? If so, mine does this with TuneIn as well as bluetooth streaming relatively frequently.
