pet mode

I am in the process of purchase either the pre-own Gen1 R1S or Gen2 R1s but have a question on its reliability of Pet Mode. I have read several forums and many reliability issues pointing on Gen2 and seldom few on Gen1s. I use Dog Mode on my Tesla liberally and has zero problems with it and...

I decided to try out pet mode earlier today (since I just finally got the update), and as I checked on it, the temperature just kept going down, getting as low as 55ºF. Now, when we got to the car, it didn't seem that cold, but has anyone else seen this? I figure it's probably a bug somewhere...
