Right now at least it seems 100% of R1Ts in the shop come with a free PTC. He offered me a couple that didn't but not anything I wanted more than my LE.

Some of the R1Ts in the Demo shop don't have a PTC, @jjswan33.

Charge port door redesigned?

There was an RJ interview in Bloomberg 3 days ago. In some B roll they showed an R1T with a charge port door they hinged forward like a car door instead of presenting and then rotating.

Probably a wise change if it is real.

IDK I was emailing with someone in Rivian sales this morning. Trying to find an R1T without the PTC.

He assured me I better hurry up and buy a 2023 R1T because they wouldn't be making any more

Buying a leftover 2023 model at this point makes no sense when 2025’s are right around the corner. The Osborne Effect has clearly kicked in for potential buyers.

I think we are going to hear some surprise announcements regarding the refreshed R1 model. Rumors are that a 1,000+ HP R1X and a low $60k conventional spring suspension R1 are coming out to help boost sales.

Rivian is doing model years different than any other manufacture.

Rivian MY 2025 is slated for December... while pretty much everyone else is already producing, or has produced, MY 2025.

I have 5 MY 2025 Volvo's in my fleet already.
