That’s a pretty big grill ?

Interesting with the front hitch mount. Maybe a winch might pop on there?

Wonder what the story is here - these are clearly functional, not the typical cosmetic stick on damage multiplier type

Not my kind of thing but interesting. There is also a tow hitch on the front.

That's some beefy armor and looks like solid mounts at lower frame and tow hook locations. Structurally this does seem to suggest ample winch mount possibilities as commented above. She may be fugly but those welds look good.

Same for front tow hitch, while not for everyone, they are tremendous for tight driveways and around close quarters.

Gives hope for sleeker versions with say winch, lights, headlamp cages, no front hitch.

does this mean it can handle a snow plow (unlike the imaginary CT)?

I bet they're testing this for when they start offering fleet vehicles for police/fire/medical. There was a post earlier of a fire department that purchased a couple R1Ts. I'm sure they'd love to have this.

I drove past that this morning as I was in the area! I'm glad I'm not the only one who just drives by to creep sometimes... haha!

Not my style, but I like that they're going to be offering differing options down the road and are clearly testing different options. It seems to attach right where the tow hooks used to be.

Not my style, I prefer a pro street look but I could see it being useful for some.

While I agree it doesn’t add beauty, it looks solid and functional. If you want to cosplay as an overlander, get some rock sliders, Moab stickers and a craft IPA. If you’re really gonna put your $90,000 truck in danger, get the brush guard and some PPF

I bet it’ll look better on any other color. White and blue being the best. Black would hide it the best
