20" or 22" wheels for snow tires?

2023 Rivian R1T, 2022 Ford Bronco
I ran the LT3s on my R1T last season in Tahoe and wasn't impressed (but still much better than stock). I ran the X-ice on my model 3 and Y and those had so much more grip downhill. Definitely looking for something a bit better given the heft of the Rivian - maybe the x-ice with the lower load rating is the way to go..

In Tahoe Donner (Truckee) with a steep driveway..
I had Blizzaks on my Volvo C40 last winter, and they did great. My only issue was not enough ground clearance when the county plow hadn't been through recently.

I'm running Hakka R5s this year, my other option was the x-ice. Hoping the R5s are good, because I paid substantially more for them than the X-ice would have cost.

I'm near the lake and 2 of the 3 main routes into our neighborhood are pretty steep hills.

Edit: Doing a little research, seems like the LT3s are pretty different tires than the R5s, and worse ice performance.

There not so much you can do to overcome the weight.
