Announcing our new "CLUBS" section where you can join or create a Rivian club or group! You can use this new feature to conveniently plan and discuss local events, gatherings or other club/group related topics.
So we encourage you to join (or start) special-interest and regional-based Rivian clubs at: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/group-categories/clubs-groups.1/
I'm certainly thinking about it! When I ordered these, it took a while to get it shipped so I don't want to run into that issue again if I get another R1S.Great spec! Out of curiosity, does the fact that you're keeping the all weather floor mats mean that this is being replaced by another Rivian?
I doubt it, but I'm not an expert so I would suggest you consult someone who knows.Interested, but Im in mountain west, does buying a used vehicle from CA require paying CA sales tax and well as your own state tax?
Thank you. Google search has some conflicting info that's why I ask.I doubt it, but I'm not an expert so I would suggest you consult someone who knows.
If at a dealership, you typically pay the dealerships local tax and the true up with your local taxes when you register. Every car I've bought out of state was with a dealership and the taxes were less than my local ones, so I paid the difference at time of registration.Interested, but Im in mountain west, does buying a used vehicle from CA require paying CA sales tax and well as your own state tax?
Thank you for the clarification! If at a dealership, you typically pay the dealerships local tax and the true up with your local taxes when you register. For private party sale, you just pay taxes when you register. Keep in mind that, legally, you need to get a temporary registration in the state you bought it to drive it on the roads until you register in your home state.
