EV trucks, and the EV space in general, is going to be really fun to watch in the coming years. I'm honestly excited about all of them.

I've been a Chevy truck guy for years, despite a brief affair with an F150, but I'm really impressed with the Lightning. I'm very curious to see if GM/Chevy will match the V2H functionality of the Lightning and what else they bring to the table.

I want some company to combine the exterior of the Chevy (including the multi-function pro tailgate) with the interior of the Ram, the capability of the Rivian, and the V2H functionality of the Lightning. And I want all of that for less than $70K net of tax incentives.

Is that too much to ask!?!?

No, you can have all that at that price point even in the current market! Now, if you asked for more than ~100 miles of range* on top of those other requirements at that price point there could be an issue. :giggle:

If you add HD towing capability and an option for DRW for another $10-15K, I am all in!

If they ever come out with a 454SS version of an electric I'd be really really tempted.

But honestly, Rivian is prettier to me right now, not a huge fan of the 2020 style of the Silverado, I much more liked the 70s, and 90s versions.

the car I learned to drive in was a 1971 Chevy Truck. 350 V8 and it did well over 120 MPH, we timed a miles at 27s one time. I really loved that truck. My dad traded it in on an 1984 with a 5.0L and whomever had it destroyed the engine. We spent the summer overhauling it. Never really ran right, they'd screwed up the vacuum system, all sorts of stuff. He went Ford after that, and I had to be all practical.
