By the way, battery pack sizes are:
* Gen 1 quad large: 131 kWh
* Gen 2 dual standard: 92.5 kWh
* Gen 2 dual large: 108.5 kWh
* Gen 2 dual max: 140 kWh
On the highway, Gen 2 is only barely more efficient. A dual large will have like 40-50 less miles of range than a Gen 1 quad.
If you are towing, battery pack matters even more because the vehicle efficiency is an even smaller piece of the pie.
So the only comparable Gen 2 option in terms of range would be Dual Max, which starts at $90k. Something I haven't seen discussed in the thread yet, so thought I'd bring it up.
