The problem you have is you now have an older generation truck. The Gen 2's will be perceived as the new hotness so to speak and you'll take more than a normal annual hit on depreciation. At the end of the day, it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it in your market and how long you want to set on it. There are also incentives on anything with a max pack.

Other than the max pack, I haven't seen the extra options bring much value on the used market unfortunately. At least I didn't see much difference when I was shopping a few months ago. You won't like my estimate, but you don't want to sit on it, you'll need to be in the mid 70's maybe upper but it will take longer to sell. I just checked a dealer near me and here is what they have.

It is a 2025 Gen 2, max pack, for $82,500 and half the miles of yours. You can back into a price you think is reasonable. This car is only 6 months old so has a lot of warranty left for both miles and years.

It's a pretty rough used market out there. I picked up my 6k mile 2023 R1T quad motor for under 61k + TTT.

Much appreciated, It funny to me that the Gen 2's are getting attention. I was just at the Rivian service center in SF and the mechanics were all talking about how much better the battery is in the Gen1 as well as the overall build quality...oh well...thanks again for your input.

Let's just say you are preaching to the choir here. I came into this with no dog in the hunt. I looked at the Gen1's, both new and used, as well as the Gen2's. I took a ton of test drives.

I bought the Gen1 as I didn't think the Gen2 upgrades were that important to me, and some didn't make the truck better for me. I could have easily spent an extra 50k for a Gen2 but it didn't make financial sense.

I like the physical door handles as an example. My truck has the updated subframe so I have that improvement that was in the Gen2's. My range has been excellent with the large pack but they shrunk the pack on the large Gen2 pack to force you to buy a max. I digress but I'd do it all over again with almost 5 months of ownership under my belt.
