I have been obsessing over this and unfortunately still have absolutely no idea. MT reviewed the Gen 2 Quad all the way back in september of 2024 and it is still currently posted on MT website

RJ recently posted a clip on FB of the Stators for the G2Q in production. @Newtonrj made a great post with more manufacturing insite than I can understand estimating that we will start seeing them soon and another 60 days or so till deliveries start. (if im understanding right).
I dont know if RJ actually runs his own FB page (he might as its not huge) but I did get a direct message response from him when I asked this question on 4/4/25 " As much as I’d love to share more details, I’m not able to provide specifics around order timing or deliveries just yet. We’re working hard behind the scenes, and I promise we’ll share updates as soon as we’re ready. Really appreciate your support and enthusiasm. it’s what keeps us going always". I do think its interesting that he posted the video a few hours after I reached out with this question.
I think that those of us waiting on this need to make sure we are vocal, Rivian is great about paying attention to the socials. Selfishly I just want one, I am in a place where I need to replace my Truck with an SUV. I have had 2 r1ts already and I just dont want to buy a Tri motor while the quad is pending, not to mention I would prefer a bigger upgrade.
I think this vehicle is more improtant to Rivan as a Brand and for profits than some might think. Just like Tesla did they need to have a top of the line product out there that sets Rivian as "the best". Then they can sell huge numbers of the less expensive cars without becoming Kia or Hyndi.
I also think that if they do just a little bit to make the G2Q stand out from the other R1 lineup they have a product that can fetch a large price. I have tried over the last 3 months with 0 budget to find a vehicle I would like as much and I cant. I dont even like the Gwagon ev or the top models of the escalade IQ as but at $200k & $160k

This is at least some good news. I wonder at this point if they will call it a 2026? I dont care about the year at all but I hope that they are not waiting for this reason.

I've seen some rumors that they are looking to pair the Quad rollout with NACS and it should be announce "soon", whatever that means. My sales rep has said they are aiming for some Quad deliveries by the end of the 2d Quarter, which I would think (hope) means orders taken in the next 30 days or so.
