I can’t for the life of me find the original thread - I am sure it was on this forum - but I have the thank the creator of the shared STL (that is now on printables). These are amazing - and I love printing with 2020’s tech parts that were popular in the 1970’s.

Those look shockingly similar to the cupholders I designed ? You are a good sense of designing for FDM, and for designing parts in general. Do you have any engineering background?

Hey - this thread was literally made to thank the person who designed them for creating/sharing the design. I wanted to post in the thread I found them but was unable to find it ( maybe it wasn’t even on this forum).

These are great and no I am shit at design as well not an engineer… not even sure what FDM is but you carry on.

lol sorry I only looked at the title and photos who ever designed them did a good job. (although look extremely risky)

You’re welcome! Somehow I just ran across this thread… and figured I’d say hi! Now that it’s been a while, do you still use the cup holders? Just curious how they have held up (on usefulness) for you.
