When backing up with the tailgate down does the backup camera just show a close up of the ground?
Do the other cameras compensate at all?
Does birds eye view still work?

Also, if you have a bike hitch rack does it block the camera's view? The tail lights?

Thanks

The camera is useless with tailgate down nothing else compensates for it. A bar comping up from a hitch mount blocks the middle of the camera view. Tail lights are only as blocked as the things you block them with. I am not sure how to answer that one. Haha. Hopefully that helps.

Tailgate down and the backup camera just sees the tailgate. I wish you could switch to the bed camera but it doesn't seem like you can use that camera for much of anything. Only Gary gets to use that one I guess. I'm hoping more of that is unlocked with future software updates.
