Acceleration out of nowhere

In the Driver+ settings, turn off the option to "set speed to speed limit" At least then it will set to the current speed and not the speed limit of the road you are on and wildly accelerate if you accidently activate it. Terrible system IMO.

It's not going to smash you through another vehicle if that's what you're asking. It's just turning on adaptive cruise, which is filling the gap.

I wonder if this is why Rivian changed cruise and Driver+ to a new "pull towards you" motion on the gear select stalk. Pulling down while already in Drive pops up a "do this instead" notification.
