So I'm a new owner, and curious people's thoughts on which add-on data platform is "best". Or really, just the differences, and why someone would choose one over the other. Here’s the list of what I know of, but perhaps there's more: Rivian Roamer, Home Assistant, ElectraFi, TezLab and Outpost. Thanks in advance!

If you are savvy, then Home Assistant gives you the same data but MUCH more control on how that data is used and presented. Plus it's local.

Otherwise, I would recommend @Rivian Roamer for sure.

I'm obviously biased but as a long time EV owner and competent software engineer, I've made Rivian Roamer the best value for the money. Privacy and Security are the most important parts of the platform

I do not sell or even have easy access to your data myself. There are no ads, third party trackers, etc.

There's a 14 day period where if you cancel I'll give you a full refund if you don't like it.

I'm a long time TezLab user. Had it for 3 years on my Model S, and now on my R1S. Not quite as good for the Rivian as the Tesla but still great.
