One of the things I have really missed is the dual visor set up I had in my last vehicle the LX470. It had a main visor that you could swing to the side window and a smaller extra visor that then could swing down from the front. Dual sun blockage.
I like my vehicles to look OEM and came across the Addvisor. I have no stake in the company (https://www.theaddvisor.com/), I just think they have a good product, beautifully packaged and great customer service.
I first tried the Addvisor plus, but it has a dual flip down sunshade and its incorporated front hinges would not allow it to be slotted above the existing Rivian visor when not in use. The company took it back and gave me a full satisfaction refund no questions asked.
I gave it another shot with the basic Addvisor, one panel only-- so far I am very pleased. This one is slender enough at its leading edge and drops down enough from the windsheild to slip in above the existing Rivian visor when stored. It takes up a little upper windsheild real estate but not overly obtrusive and far less than when I have the OEM visor flipped down. The black color matches my interior well. I oriented it to be as tight to the headliner as possible when folded up. I bought their combo package and did the passenger side as well.
To make it fit between the OEM visor supports I did have to modify it a little. I made it a few mm narrower on my chopsaw and then rounded the corners with a sander and smoothed the edges by hand. Because it is solid black plastic the mod is unnoticible.
If the windsheild needs to be replaced they provide an additional adhesive strip in the kit and more on line.
Some pics below-- enjoy:
