Alexa missing contacts and numbers

When trying to dial by voice, my truck routinely tells me it does not have a number for a given contact or that it only has a single number for the contact. In every case the contact and number can be found if I search from the display and the details are correctly displayed if I do so or dial by voice. The most common example is that Alexa is oblivious of the fact that my spouse owns a mobile phone. When I try to dial by name i'm told it only has a home number and it immediately starts dialing it. I've checked the contact permissions, alexa app permissions, reset contact sync. Nothing seems to change the behavior.

edit: I just checked the contact in Alexa (on a separate device) and it has all of the numbers. So it's just my truck not seeing them it seems.

edit: I just checked the contact in Alexa (on a separate device) and it has all of the numbers. So it's just my truck not seeing them it seems.

There is a setting on the truck to allow contact access to Alexa.

Yep. That setting is set. I also disabled it and reset it to ensure it resynced.

I am wondering if you have solved this and if so how?

I have the same problem. I use alexa all the time for car functions but it cannot find a single contact. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting my alexa account, my phone. No change. Have checked all the radio buttons in the Rivian interface and they are set correctly.

I wonder if there is some setting in my Amazon account or Alexa app on iphone that is blocking this?
