Check with credit unions. USSFCU is 5.74 for 84mo, 5.49 for 72, 4.99 for 60 etc. The lowest rates around right now AFAIK.

Folks who are putting a significant amount down or paying cash aren't affected as much by the higher rates... but it is true that the rates do hamper affordability. Average down payment on a new car last i checked was only 6k.

I guess folks have gotten used to $1,000+ a mo payments.

Hey thanks for that. Actually looked into Navy Federsl and they are offering 4.7% APR but I’m waiting to see if I’m approved at that rate. Would be huge if so in this interest environment.
