Anyone else have this instrument screen viewing problem?

Both my wife and I have a hard time with the steering wheel height. We have tried lowering the seats and adjusting the steering wheel, but we both find that our ideal height causes the wheel to block the posted speed limit and viewing of our blinkers .

(Sorry not a great picture cause I wasn’t driving)

Can be a simple tech update lowering them or moving it a little. #1stWorldProblems

Yeah I also have to keep the wheel in a slightly less than ideal position to have the ideal view of the instrument screen.

Same. Anything on the top of the driver dash screen including my current speed I cannot see unless I bend down to peek under the top of the steering wheel. I've seen other members comment the same. Hopefully a future OTA update will allow us to customize the layout more.

Ummm.... assuming you used the below, but maybe you need to try again? Move it further in perhaps, or move yourself back. The closer you are to the target, the bigger it is ??

Yes, 90% of the time I drive with my hand at the 12 o'clock position, so my steering wheel is set at the lowest height and furthest distance from me. I realize I could adjust this for a better view of the driver dash screen, but it is less comfortable. So either I live with the obstructed view or compromise with a less comfortable steering wheel position.

A user customizable panel would be nice. I rented a Suburban a few months ago, it had about 5 different layouts you could choose from and some offered the ability to choose what values were display.

Yeah my wife is pretty short, so moving the seat back is a no go.. also her seat likes to be higher so she can see over the steering wheel.. I think you see where I’m getting at

She did try steering wheel low…. But however she likes the seat higher so she can see better. Basically gives no way to get her legs in when it’s all the way low… I guess it’s just something we will live with. I have had plenty of cars in my life, but possibly the biggest cluster display on this one?

You can't raise the wheel like... two inches and have it still be comfortable with your hands at the top of the wheel? Having it that low would drive me bonkers when turning.

My thought is more just raise the wheel the minimum needed to not block the screen.

Thanks for the suggestion, but have tried everything .. it’s not user error it’s a display thing

Not saying it's user error, just surprised you can't find a comfortable spot without blocking it.

I’m just asking if anyone else has the same problem .. not looking for the solution (that doesn’t exist other that an update)
