Do you have issues with getting a spare from Rivian directly? Or are you located nearby? If you're from Portland, I'd doubt the shipping cost would be worth, but ?‍Yes, count me in.
Good call on the shipping. No, I thought it might be cheaper but having thought about it, its probably about the same.Do you have issues with getting a spare from Rivian directly? Or are you located nearby? If you're from Portland, I'd doubt the shipping cost would be worth, but ?‍
They've just been resistant to my efforts of buying a spare, so trying to arrange a local-ish group buy instead. If all else fails, I'm buying a full set myself.
Yea. I just got my R1S so I don't mind having the OEM tire for my spare currently as I plan to use that for now and then as my pseudo-winter tire. After that I do want a set of 20" with aftermarket tires for the summer. I don't plan on using OEM tires too once these are used up.I am going to buy a stock wheel if one becomes available, but I'll never use the stock tires again so I just want the wheel (AT dark).
Yea I've read that around here. I'll be waiting to see haha. Since I'll have two sets, that might not be for a long while tbh. The vehicle is already way louder than my Ioniq5 with just the HVAC system alone. My ioniq 5 is tighter, and quieter in all aspects. But it doesn't bother me too much, yet. Of course I'd like a super quiet cabin, like many would, but it wasn't high on my priority of choosing this over an EV9 when I was shopping for a three row EV SUV.FYI, the general agreement is that those AT Pirellis are horribly loud by 15k and often really loud by 10k. I got my truck with 14k and they were HORRIBLE. They had over 50% tread but I got rid of them. Now I can hear the fact that there's wind noise... But still, what an ultra quiet truck (Nitto Recon in the 116 load range).
