Anybody else want a Parade mode?

My Rivian will be in the holiday parade this weekend and I sure wish I could have some features enabled while travelling sub say 15 mph

Full Camp Lighting
Drive with Gear tunnel open
Cool Exterior Lighting options
Unrestricted Tank Turn (When Available)
Suspension Height Demos
Fix the Camp Speaker sync with Truck Stereo

You can drive up to 13 mph with the gear tunnel doors open.

Suspension height can realistically only be changed from lowest to highest once every 5 minutes because of the volume of air it takes. Probably will get locked out after a few cycles to protect the compressor. You'd have to have a much higher volume compressor to be able to do it continously.

Rivian has the "Show and Tell mode", but I think that's primarily to keep the lights on while stopped. I haven't used it so don't know what it does if the truck is in motion.

Driving with gear tunnel doors open sounds like a horrible idea.
I agree the bluetooth speaker should pair to the truck and "extend" the music outside.
I can barely get mine to pair with my phone it's basically useless.

At very low speeds, think sitting on the seat and tossing candy in a parade.

Maybe I'm "becoming my parents" but that sounds sketchy even at 3mph.

I think you just need to do something to send your Rivian into turtle mode and that is their version of "parade mode". Good luck☠

I mean, it depends entirely on your objectives.

If the plan is to amputate below the knee anyone standing within 18” of either side of the truck, then it’s a great idea.

Why not just sit or stand in the bed and toss candy? Just don't lean on the roof.

I dunno how many people are in parades. But maybe offering a snow wheel and tire package from the factory would be useful :troll:

The Parade was a success but I found myself wanting a lot of software enabled functions regarding lighting.
I understand that these are bottom of the request list but when working with the truck at night it got annoying.

Turn on the bed lights - Near as I can tell you have to close and open the tailgate.
Turn on the all the exterior lights including puddle lights
Turn on the gear tunnel lights

It was super annoying as we were working to assemble the float that all the lights would time out and there was no easy way to turn the lights back on.

I did not, it was a variable that I wasn't ready to introduce. Probably would have been fine.

I also used the Hotspot functionality to run my Sonos speakers on the platform I built to play music which added complexity because I had to turn off bluetooth functionality to make the phone work. There is a limitation that I cant airplay and bluetooth multiple devices.

Consequently I had to use my card key to make the truck go.

Either way there should be an ability to have all the truck exterior lights on until manually shut off, camping at night, working at night, etc...
