Apple Music not working, giving up...

I've tried everything, and cannot get Apple music to work correctly. I can log in, and it will either not play music, it will play one song and just stop working. It will skip to another song and just not play.

I have tried resets, logging in and out, nothing has worked. Wi-Fi is connected, every other music app works correctly.

Anyone ever have this issue? I have given up and cancelled my Apple music subscription.

I've had an issue since two updates back.

Music I purchased and uploaded to iTunes will no longer play in Apple Music. It will do what you describe where it shows the song, but the play button does nothing.

Random streaming music still works fine for me though.

I'm pretty close to giving up on Apple Music too. Heck, I want to ditch the whole streaming thing and just play the music I own. I'm over streaming.

I’ve had all of those issues at one time or another, but lately mine has been working better than it has in a long time.

I don’t blame you for cancelling though - it can be so frustrating!

Yeah, it's all streaming that doesn't work for me. I've been using Spotify for the past week, and it works flawlessly.

Mine was working perfectly before a SC visit to replace the 12v. After that, it has never worked correctly.

login out and back in does not work.

You need to select the option to login as another user and then you can login as the same user. This somehow resets the cache or whatever is holding onto the problem.

I had tons of issues with Apple Music and tried everything. What finally worked was logging out of Apple Music, then doing a soft reset, then logging back in to Apple Music. In that order. Since then I’ve not had any issues. Something gets screwed up with the cache and it needs to be cleared while logged out.
