Apple Music quit. WTH.

Making progress. I just open the Apple Music app to give it a try, The Home, Radio, and Browse tabs weren’t working. However, the Library tab appears to be working. So, for now, I do have music, if not a fully functioning Apple Music app.

I fixed it!! Woo-hoo!. I followed David’s routine and it worked. The T sat for a short spell - not sure if this is necessary. Next, I logged out of my Apple Music account in the Rivian. THEN, I did a software reset. After the reset, I logged back into my Apple Music account and all was back to normal. I had previously done resets and logged out of and back in to my Music account, but I did not do them in this particular order. I suspect the key was logging out of Apple Music prior to the software reset.

I had this happen too. No Apple Music , Amazon or Tidal. No access to internet either. Soft reset didn't work. Hard reset worked for a day and now it's back to its useless state. My subscription is paid until October 2025. I'm really hoping that the next update fixes what this last update screwed up. Fingers crossed.

Same thing happened to me it went dead for about a week and then I finally put in a trouble call and Rivian called and we disconnected Bluetooth and connected it back. During that time, I could still see my library once in a while, but the rest was all no media content as your images show. Then magically all of a sudden it just started working again. As many here have said I’ve done many soft and hard resets prior to it starting to work again And when I was on the phone with the tech, he mentioned how there have been some issues with Apple Music.

Yeah. Buggy implementation. Very frustrating.

I see that somewhat frequently when the trucks been parked for a while, but usually, driving around for a minute or two will clear it up. Wish there was a reset option that just killed whatever processes are running Apple Music vs rebooting the whole thing.
