Apple Music volume not working properly

so apple music is awesome but the volume is not working correctly. when I move from like volume 1 to volume 2 it like going from 1 to like 10. does anyone now how to fix that I tried changing some settings in the EQ but did not make difference

Haha I've noticed this too. I had it set to 2 yesterday and was struggling to hear over the conversation I was having with someone in the truck, even worse when you speed up and the volume auto-raises. They've got something way out of proportion here.

I've noticed the same thing. Turning OFF Dynamic sound adjustment seems to fix the issue.

Did anyone try a software reset?

Had this problem on prior software with other music. Suspect it's a bug related to what volume you had the vehicle set to before updating. Still waiting on Rivian to fix it apparently.

I have similar issues w Amazon music since purchasing the vehicle. Only fix has been turning off dynamic sound as mentioned above. Resetting the infotainment system does not work for me.

I have the same complaint, but it’s not just Apple Music.

It goes from Mute, to a whisper at 1, to LOUD at 2… by 7, you’re screaming over it.

why would they do this? I like to have background music, but at 2, I can’t hear any passengers in the 2nd row.

Did anyone try a software reset?

I tried a soft reset and it did not help. I did a vehicle reset and that fixed the volume issue. Not sure why a vehicle reset for this but it worked for me.

Correction - my volume hasn’t changed. It’s still on the louder side. I believe what I experienced was a volume difference sitting in my driveway vs. driving. When driving the volume increases by design.
