I think your way makes way more sense and now I wish they’d split the button vertically instead of horizontally. I guess the 2 half-buttons might have been too thin that way. Top=front / bottom=rearYou are correct, it should be top and bottom; however, the stalk is a little tilted; when I'm driving, it feels more like front and back. In addition, front for front and back for back is easier to remember than top for front and bottom for back.
is easy enough to remember once you learn it but front of button=front windshield / rear of button=rear window just makes sense. Maybe they should have left the end a single large button but have it attached to a self-centering front/rear rocker switch.Sponsored
