Doing the full frontal + ceramic gold + ceramic interior at APC ($2200 + $2200*0.7 + $275) = $4015 before taxes was a much better proposition to me than $5500 for full frontal + CQuartz ceramic at Metropolitan. I rather save the difference for the kitchen and tent.
Do you know if APC Full-Frontal includes the front part under the bumpers? See red area called splitter below. Metro wants $500 on top of the $2500 for the splitter. Gear tunnel is extra as well, but it already comes with PPF.

Uhhhh I didn't ask. I guess I'll see tomorrow. I didn't really care about that part to be honest. I figured that part would be hitting rocks and be scraped if and when I decide to off road.

No, APC did not include that splitter and they had to trim the gear tunnel ppf as well. The factory install of ppf was starting to peel at the edges when I brought it to them and I asked them if they would be able to fix it before they put ceramic on.
It also does appear that APC ppf wrapped under the Rivian frunk badge.

I was told it is a 10 day cure time for Ceramic Gold, so no washing with soap for 10 days. The car wash recommendation after ceramic is applied, is to handwash using the 2 bucket method with a soap/finisher meant for ceramic so that it is preserved better. Touchless is okay but one of the guys didn't trust 100% since it's unknown what the touchless soap composition is.

If anyone wants to see the job they did feel free to PM me and we can meet to see if you like their quality of work. I do have to go back to get it touched up since I am missing an interior trim piece and they noticed an adhesive tear on the ppf of the drivers side mirror right when I was picking up the vehicle.

They also noticed an additional scratch and chip that I'll have to bring up for my mobile service tomorrow.

Really deep gouge when they were installing the trim piece by the rear window.

They put it under the emblem. They emailed me to let me know that how it's attached (which we already saw/found in the video).

Are you north or Bellevue or south? How do you like the product? I'm thinking of going with them whenever my truck shows up.

Kirkland. Right now I'm happy/neutral. There are bubbles on the hood that should go away after a few more days. I think I'll give a better answer after everything fully cures.

@r1vlife,

Thanks so much for all these details. Can't wait to see pics once everything has cured.

I've seen mention of doing Paint Correction prior to installing any PPF. Do you know if your team in Monroe did any paint correction? Was that part of the pricing?

I believe I asked them when I visited the shop in person and i believe they said they would prior to ceramic being applied. My memory is fuzzy at this point and I don't know if they actually did it to my vehicle.

This is the first time I'm getting ppf and ceramic so I'm also a lot more lenient since there's a lot of things I don't know and am figuring out in this process.

Also seeing some additional spots lifting that I'll need to bring back to get fixed.
