Hey
TheHedgehog116

I was there at the Ventura Street Celebration yesterday but I was not the owner. The owner is Eric from Simi who was so kind to take his entire day to share and showcase his R1T. Very cool!

I'm an R1S pre-order holder and when I was chatting with Eric at the event, a Rivian employee came over and started chatting with us as well. Small world!

Like Eric, we have the Rivian Blue exterior color along with the Black Mountain interior. We cannot wait!

Try finding the Facebook Venture EV Group and I think we are having another event near the Camarillo airport soon.

Finally, it was like Disneyland yesterday on Main Street. So crowded! Fun to see everyone enjoying the day!

Peace
Oh man how lucky y'all were to be able to chat with a Rivian employee! I would've picked his brain about everything.

The wait is killing me. My guide expected me to take delivery sooner than the typical time frame, but it doesn't look like it's coming to fruition so I'm just waiting now twirling my fingers.

And ya it was nice to see how many ppl came out for the street fair. Definitely had a Disneyland vibe haha.

Hey idk if it was you or not at the Ventura 4th of July Street Fair, but if it was it was a pleasure to meet you and see your R1T! Pictures of Rivian Blue look good and seeing it in person is 10x better. It literally stole the show and had the most attention amongst all autos there. I doubt you'll remember me, but we talked briefly about how I'll be taking delivery of my R1T soon before an older gentleman came up and asked who made the truck with a confused look. Lol. Anyways thanks for taking the time to showcase your truck.

On the other hand if that wasn't you then please disregard this message haha.
Hahaha yeah it was me and I'm glad you got to see the truck. Honestly waiting the 3 years that I did and crashing the Rivian test center in Irvine last year I totally know how you feel. Wish Rivian had more in display in general but oh well.

I talked to a lot of people and had A LOT of confused people come up to me all day :p. The one thing me and the other guys with EVs there talked about was how much confusion there still is in the EV market. I knew there was some but seeing it like that was eye opening.

Glad I got to do a little bit of my part and educate some of them on the truck. Looking forward to when we can all have a Rivian Meetup and have some beers and BBQ at the beach!

Thanks for coming out yesterday.

Like Ashley said, we got our R1S invite today and we are so excited to get a little closer to a delivery!

Thanks again for promoting EVs in Ventura county.

Peace

It's only right that people are confused considering for so long Tesla was the only legitimate manufacturer that could convince ppl to convert. But with all these new EVs finally coming to fruition and gas prices the way they are, I bet more ppl are going to start considering converting. Imagine all the ppl that saw the R1T googling the company. You lit the fire and it's going to be an exponential growth from this point on.

I even have a Lightning scheduled for production end of this month. I'm going to compare the two to see which I prefer and sell the other. In all honesty though I'm 95% sure I'm keeping the R1T over the Lightning.

Very true about people. It was a good mix though, some people knew nothing and I love sharing knowledge. Some knew some things (or thought they did) and I unfortunately had two people that were VERY anti-EV but that's life. The first one I talked to for a while and she seemed to come around a tiny bit (a win for me) but I was to tired to deal with the other one and said I had to leave.

The Lighting is going to be a great truck too, you'll have no problem selling it if you go that route so you won't be disappointed either way!
