Ceramic Tint & Mirror Dimming Performance

Question: Will getting 50 or 70% Ceramic tint on back windows affect my side and rear view mirror dimming? Has anyone experienced any deterioration in how often and how much they dim after getting the rear of the vehicle tinted?

Background: I just got my BMW M3 tinted and I noticed that the side dimming mirrors no longer work at all. I have 30% LLUMAR Stratos all around (excluding windshield). The stock glass on it was not tinted from manufacturer. My wife is now worried that if we add tint to the rear of her R1S the auto dimming will stop working. She’s not as worried about the rear view mirror but definitely about the side view mirrors.

I have the same tint on X5 and have 0 problems with dimming. As for Rivian - dimming performance is very weak IMHO. BMW dimming effect is 5 times stronger compared to R1T
