Charge Port Actuator intermittent.

I have a 24 R1S and am in a cold climate. In hotter weather now as spring has arrived. After the latest software update I started noticing my charge port motor having difficulties with operating. Sometimes no movement of the door and just some motor clicking is audible. After a full car reset the carport would open partially not fully. After many attempts it finally opened enough to accept a charge.

Anyone else had the motor replaced? I’ve attempted the door calibration in ride app. It said fail each time.

I am surprised that there isn’t a manual override option by maybe opening up the frunk and disabling the motor. Is there? Rivian confirmed there is not a manual option.

Called SC and am looking to get in for repair. Charging the battery high while I have the opportunity.

Hello, I’m having the exact same issue. Started also after last update. Tonneau cover has been experiencing similar issue since last update as well. I was able the open the charge port after hard reset and long press on the 3 bars. Appointment is only mid June. Did you found a solution?
