Does anyone else think that the Charging History section of the mobile app needs a rework? Not in the sense of UI or anything, but the fact that a "session" seems to be dictated by physical insertion and removal of the charging cable, and not... you know... ACTUAL charging sessions?

For example - I rarely drive during the week, so my vehicle stays plugged in 2, 3, 4 days in a row sometimes, but I have it set to charge on a schedule overnight and it typically charges a little bit to makeup for Vampire drain each night. Yet, per the app, all those individual charging sessions (that it reports as completed - individually each day in the top summary section) just get munged up into a single aggregated value of like 9hrs and 10Kw or whatever.

I want those to be (and they should be) INDIVIDUAL charging events. I want to see that Tuesday was 1hr, Wed was 2hrs, and Thurs was 1.5hrs. And I want to see the individual amounts of energy added EVERY TIME charging starts and stops. It doesn't matter that the cable was not unplugged, EACH of those events needs to be an entry in the "charging history" journal. The aggregated value is nearly useless.

Will probably post this at wassym over on Reddit, but am I the only one annoyed by this implementation?

For example:

Rivian R1T R1S Charging History in Mobile App 1715580746926-vt

This entry From April 6th... goes until I unplugged it on the 9th. Seeing an aggregate of 61hrs encompassing several individual charging sessions is fairly useless for understanding what ACTUALLY happened over that period as far as charging. It's likely the first night was topping off the battery after a drive, followed by two small sessions to top up after vampire drain... how MUCH vampire drain? Who the hell knows?! It would be nice to see it, but unless you physically unplug/replug, every day, you won't. This isn't useful data, it's not useless... but it's not "usable" for any insight aside from knowing the totals.

Been saying that for more than a year. In addition, when it comes to KWh added, the history doesn’t match the session summary and neither matches the trip odometer which I reset every charge. By unplugging right when the charge stops I have found the session summary is correct and of course only then the charge history matches. By the way I have only charged at home.

Totally agree, I thought there was an issue with my charging because of that, and I brought it up with support, but they told me that it wasn't the charging session time, but the amount of time it was plugged in, which basically makes that history worthless.

Try using ElectraFi. It gives accurate charging information even when the vehicle remains plugged in. Basically when the charge is complete it considers the charge session to be over.

I've debated this, but maybe it's time to actually explore setting it up. It's a shame you can't get this level of information 1st party - it seems so obvious and relatively low-lift to "fix".
