I’d be really curious to hear from Canadian Rivian owners about their public charging experience. I take my R1S to Canada relatively frequently, but maps on the US cars only include Chargepoint chargers in Canada, not Electrify Canada or BC Hydro. That means I have to manually plan the charge stops, and the car can’t pre-condition the battery. When I stopped at a 350 kW Electrify Canada charger in Squamish yesterday I got 36 kW, probably because the battery wasn’t properly pre-conditioned.
It seems really strange that the maps don’t include the most common chargers in Canada. Do Canadian owners deal with this too?
If we only had Apple Maps, it apparently now includes these chargers and can even plan charge stops.
