When I upgraded from an e-Golf to the R1S, I decided to swap out my Clipper Creek level 2 charger for a Rivian charger.
While the Rivian charger is theoretically a little faster than my HCS-40 was, the difference is very small and irrelevant if doing an overnight charge
So, if you are looking to install a level 2 charger at home, this is your chance to score a very solid unit for less than 40% of what a new one would cost.
The connector is actually nicer than on the Rivian charger. Goes in easier and has a more positive “snap” when in all the way.
I’m listing it on eBay too, but I’d rather sell it without the fees and possibly save you the shipping if you are in the Bay Area.
Asking $300
