Confused about software versions

Excuse my lack of knowledge when it comes to software versions. My 2025 Gen2 R1T came delivered with version 2024.31.30 I have a couple of questions:

1. Is there a list of software versions someplace?
2. I get that the first 4 numbers are the year but what do the other two sets of numbers mean?
3. How many versions am I behind?

Second number is the week (of the year) it was released. Third number is just a version increment.

year. major release version (seems to roughly correspond to week of year of release, others may be able to confirm). minor/patch version.

You can not control when an update is available to your vehicle. Rivian pushes releases to vehicles over a period of weeks so that not everybody gets a release on the same date. Sometimes you will get day 1, other times you won't. Once made available to your vehicle, you can choose when it gets applied or enable auto updates.
