After extensive searching and reading forum posts, I'm in the process of changing out my stock 21" wheels for the Dodge 2363 (20") rims and snow tires. We drive I-70 in Colorado and over mountain passes frequently during the winter so I want a dedicated snow tire.
People on the forum have recommended Hankook Winter iPike X, Nokian Hakkapelitta R5, and Blizzak LT. I wanted the Wildpeaks but they are not specific winter tires so don't have as good of a snow rating as other tires.
I took my list to Discount Tire to see what tires they have and unfortunately, all of the above-listed tires were unavailable BUT he could get and highly recommended the Cooper Discoverer Snow Claw. In searching through the forums no one has mentioned this as an option. Has anyone else used these? Thoughts?
