I received my 2026 R1T last month and my alert message states Only AC charging available
I did the reboot three times and it’s gone away three times, but it comes back next day

Not a good thing if I wanted to travel long distance.
Service department couldn’t get me in prior to me leaving the country, so I’ll have to deal with this when I get back.

we did a tester camper trailer camping trip 66 miles away from the house and it towed well. Charged 100% arrived at the campground with 49%.
30 amp for camper trailer, and had the 50 amp for R1T. Hit all the local sites and just plugged it in overnight worked out great.
Not sure what would happen if I would’ve needed the DC fast charging on a longer trip it would’ve been a real pain in my 😳

Yeah, it sounds like you definitely need to have this checked. When you say you did the “reboot” do you mean you did the software reset or the hard reset? For a charging issue that would be more likely to help.

I called Rivian customer support, and they had me do the hazard and left button on the steering wheel. Each time the message went away but came back following day so I called them again and repeat the third time they scheduled an appointment but it was the day after my departure so when I get back in the country, I’ll try to schedule an appointment to take it to the service center.
