I really like the Limestone/Forest Edge combination.

If it wasn’t for the $1500 paint and $2000 interior upcharge I would probably choose it.
It is a great combination. Both Limestone and Forrest edge are best if seen in person. Pictuers dont tell the whole story. I hated spending the extra money but it looks really good and it's not the normal combination. I could stomach the extra money due to tax credit, and the additional costs associated with everything after march 1st. I told my self it was either the black rims or this. I chose due to the cost of powder coating.

I can unfortunately help. To my eyes, there are significantly more orange peel effect in the finish. I never noticed it on my mach e nor the lighning I test drove. I noticed it as soon as it was being unloaded off the truck and i wasnt really looking for that issue. It was very easy to spot. Viewing Straight on, it looks fine and then looking off angle, the orange peel is everywhere. I am going to have my truck ceramic coated to see if that helps. Its also within rivian spec per my SC and my work order. The color looks great in person, just the orange peel. I didnt notice any swirls marks though, just looks like the surface of an orange. I can give you any photos you want but you can see it in the reflections. I have other pictures. I even created a thread on that but had it shut down because of some of the comments.

Even with my loaner (which is Forrest green), has significant orange peel effect.

Yes, coming from a VW that is a pretty significant orange peel, but I have seen that on about every Rivian i've seen in person so far. This answers my questions- I think limestone will hold up a bit better than rivian blue, and that my change my config :).

I am a little surprised at the consistent orange peel on R1T's coming out if the factory.

I was under the impression that Rivian installed a state-of-the-art paint application system. I understand the new paint shop uses different colored paint canisters that can be changed out quickly for each truck coming down the line. This eliminates the need for trucks to be painted in batches.

I have the limestone and FE interior combo and I really think it is stunning and different. I normally pick white trucks with black leather. No regrets.
