Not sure what else you want us to tell you, aside from ask for a new VIN, car or, sure cancel and go back to Tesla
Yeah I’m probably too harsh, but shouldn’t happen for this price range. Initially they said only light bar, then today they said whole front fascia, I’m guessing next week whole car? Who knows

Delivery day today, they called said there’s water spots detailed can’t remove. Talked to service said it’s pretty bad need to replace whole front fascia. For now no timeline but rescheduled a week out…… already want to just cancel stick with Tesla

This seems like an incredibly stupid reason to forgo this sort of purchase but if you make decisions this capriciously it's better for everyone here if you do cancel and go with Tesla. I personally don't look forward to the litany of whiny posts that will be coming from you in the future if you do not.

Week after that, they're gonna have to completely retool the entire factory!

Could have been worse, they could have told you after delivery they will fix it later, or not said anything. Don't be so negative.

Better than discovering something several years later that was an issue the whole time and then they refuse to fix it.

Traditional dealers are not as honest about PDI issues. Your vehicle could have fallen off the transit truck and they'd never tell you anything.

my bad, the quote prompt popped out after i already started typing that's why its split, what would you do if the day of your delivery they said hey there's more issue and they will need to replace whole front end of your car? just wait it out? personally if you're spending 110000$ and this comes up the day of your delivery don't give me warm fussy. Epically 12 hours ago they said yeah no big deal they'll replace the light bar and now more to it.

yeah i know that. but just got off couple calls with Rivian and they do not want to send me pictures. they keep saying it'll be fixed. Weird huh?

OP-cancel the order and get a Tesla. Your tolerance is different than others here. That's not bad-it's what you like.
yeah.... anyways thanks for replies. not trying to be all complaining or what not. just money better else where if they cant send a picture show me what's wrong.
