Hoping a few owners can chime in

My delivery is "scheduled" for tomorrow. Any advice on specific things to look for before accepting the vehicle. Any problem areas. I have my list, but possibly there's been a problem area that I should add to my list?

Thanks in advance for any feeback.

We would need to see your list before we know what is missing from it. ?. I’m picking up my replacement in Houston on Wednesday. Panel gaps, alignment and paint are my big concerns.

Dents; I caught 3 large dents. 2 on the driver door (small dimes sized) and one damaged bumper fascia (needs to be replaced) for my R1T.

Rear tailgate; Make sure it opens with a single press. Literally try it like 5-7 times in a row to make sure it drops open. Mine does maybe 15% of the time.

Phone as Key; Make sure it's set up right and proxy senses your phone. My phone was never set up right.

Gear tunnel hinge covers; Check them both and make sure you have them, my R1T only came with one.

Look at interior panel gaps especially in the back seat near the ceiling and surrounding the roof and back window.

Power Tonneaus cover; try it out 5-7 times. Make sure it works.

I just realized that I didn't get any gear tunnel hinge covers, are those standard?

It arrived. All went smoothly. They were 1/2 hour early. Truck looks good. Front hood on both sides sits in from the fender corners just a little, but that appears to be more of stamping issue than it is a build issue. Other than that, no complaints.

As others noted, virtually all of the accessory items were not delivered with the truck, to be sent separately, Spare tire, wristband, all weather floormats, field kit, cargo bars, etc.

Overall, a good experience. Took it for a quick drive around the block. Checked all the air suspension settings. All appears good thus far.

Homelink worked well. Got the phone setup as a key. Some issues setting both up, but in each case, more user error than anything. After a couple of tries, all works.

Keyfob does open the truck on arrival, without having to press any buttons. Saw that asked somewhere else.

Happy Camper. Now, as soon as I can free up some time, I'll go drive it and get to know it.

Not much point in checking anything covered under warranty - you have lots of time to find that. I just checked for items they could blame me for later - paint, interior damage, etc.

You’ll mostly likely find the passenger side roof connection to the glass sticks out and possibly that the passenger door sticks out a bit compared to windshield / hood assembly.
