Did the new update break the hvac?

Has anyone gone to service with this? If so, was there a hardware fix for this? New Gen 2 R1T owner here and I’m experiencing a lot of what I read here. Set HVAC at say 64 and the system blows past it and just keeps heating.

I have not. I experienced weird stuff one or two times only and then things have been normal since then, I haven't had a recurrence since late-December.
